@Icu282 You still didn't look at the article, did you? Look up Metroid Timeline. The article had a link to the Japanese MZM site where the creators confirmed the timeline. Also, it was in an article of Nintendo Power (not mentioned on the wiki article).

@MarioGalaxy243g5 Yes, they originally do, but after that anyone can change it. They will start out true basically, but after that you don't know if it's true, because anyone can edit them. If you have a link to Nintendo themself saying this I will know for certain it is true.

@Icu282 ...Excuse me. But you didn't even read the timeline article. Now, if you have read the article, you would know that that timeline is officially confirmed by Nintendo. Wikis use official sources for their information.
