"But that unwillingness to compromise may ultimately keep Stevie's music off the radio. And for a good reason. Not a judicious reason, mind you, but a factual one: the corporate nature of the music industry, and the commitant inertia of commercial radio. R. Stevie Moore isn't recording for any "major label." Hence, his records aren't recognized as legitimate "product" (ugh!--such language) by radio stations, who take orders from above, not below. "

  • Why when you go to some shitty Frank Zappa video 600000 people have watched it? RSM is soooo much better. At least pop culture is finally catching up.

Its so weird how a lot people don't like RSM at first either. They always write it off because of some aesthetic reason or something. Then they come around harder than ever. I have successfully turned many of my friends on to RSM.

  • this guy can only write hits apparently...do yourself a solid..check it all out!

  • @billyharris27 It's cool that you're all for the popularization of RSM, but there's no need to down talk Zappa. They are both true geniuses. Don't judge artists by popularity, judge artists by what makes YOU feel good.

  • He's the American Roy Wood.

  • @billyharris27 i agree with you. rsm is better and all that other stuff you said. but i bet there's someone on here saying something similair to what you said but with zappa in the place of rsm and the beatles, rolling stones, etc. in the place of zappa. i do agree with you though...

  • love the hook

  • i am also excited to participate in this experiment.

  • Could too much RSM be bad for you? I'm going to find out.

  • aaargh! I cant handle this level of perfection anymore! My freakin' brain is going to explode! I guess I have to favorite every single fucking song this guy has ever written!

RSM in the 80's looks like my brother (in-law).
