I think of the two high notes, the A flat is the 'disaster'. The G has body and support, but just isn't sustained. The A flat seems badly supported, but that seems to be slip, like the G. I'm sure this baritone has sung many better prologues.

I enjoyed his effort here in this video though. The high notes need a bit of work, but everything else sounds pretty good on the whole.

It's crazy to listen to 1978 Met of Sherrill Milnes sing Si Puo after listening to this. Especially the high notes. The difference is night and day. Milnes might be the Pavarotti of Baritones.

Well, if he gets tired in the PROLOGUE, after 5 minutes of singing, then I don't want to hear him in a main role in an opera. Don't think it's this, though, I think he just didn't really get hold of the note.

I think he just got tired at the end. This is a tough piece.

The first one is an A-flat, the latter a G. And yeah, the G was a disaster, but the rest of the performance was pretty good.

The people in the public do not know the piece. They were anxious for clapping hands.
The A good but the final G, a disaster.
