Killing Time (Short Film)

I really liked the concept that was put forth by the SMP Films short film of the same title. I thought I would try my own rendition of the story. This film was shot for a 24 hour film festival in my city.

Unfortunately, a lot of things changed the night before production and it put a huge damper on everything. I made do with what I could and with the changes that were applied. The movie was also shot in 6 hours. Which is significantly shorter than originally anticipated.

However, I do think the movie turned out alright. I don't know if the idea and theme of the movie is directly conveyed or if it requires a few re-watches. I guess, because I knew how the story progressed in my head it felt it spoke properly but I suppose I can leave that decision up to you guys.

I would love to come back to this one day when I have the proper/necessary materials and funding to give it another shot. Thanks again to SMP Films even for the simple inspiration of such a great idea.
