Donny Hathaway was a great artist. His untimely death was a great loss.

But I just was watching The Voice UK. A contestant sang "A Song For You," one of my favorite songs ever. The show credited the song to Donny Hathaway.

But let's give correct credit to Leon Russell, who wrote and originally recorded "A Song For You." And also gave a great rendition of his song.

That's encouraging. I am glad you know this song and artist. I think one of the things Noel mentioned was that today people are fed certain songs or artist by almost all media outlets. Many of these so called artist just have a very negative message or delivery that has an impact on people and gives them a skewed perspective on life and how to live it sometimes.
