Baby Ellie had to have surgery for an intussesception (telescoping bowel). She is home and safe and on the mend.

My daughter had an intussusception when she was six months old and had surgery to correct it, the doctors also removed her appendix. She is now 14 and was recently hospitalized for a bowel obstruction caused from adhesions from the intussusception surgery 14 years ago. She had surgery to repair the recent bowel obstruction (lysis of adhesions) and is doing well now.
