Lady June, aka June Campbell Cramer, was a Bohemian artist and poet who was something of an honorary member of the less commercial wing of the early-70s British progressive rock scene. Numerous musicians lived and hung out in her flat in the Maida Vale area of London, which is most famous as the place where (at a 1973 party) Robert Wyatt fell out of a window, paralyzing him from the waist down.

This Album is actually recorded in Lady June's flat in the Maida Vale area of London, for only 400 pounds.

The album is a collaboration between Lady June, Kevin Ayers and Brain Eno. Released in 1974, early 1975.

  • Hey, esa guitarra de Kevin es saltarina.

  • so nice to hear my old friend Lady June again after all these years; we hung out there alot, eating the food she so generously supplied the starving musicians and their wives and children. We had fun with LJ...she was an enigma and a treasure.

  • Lady June once invited me to dinner to return a favour . I told her I was a vegetarian so she served me Quail ! Sadly I had to decline but the spuds were good.

  • Do you guys have a version or 'rebella' at all? cheers.

  • I haven't heard this for about 30 years! Fantastic to hear it again after so long. I can still sing the Mangle Wurzle Song - any chance of uploading that one?

  • Crikey i never thought i would hear this again thankyou :)

  • Love this album

  • Some very tasty guitar here! I have it on vinyl, but was glad to see it here!
