Next time you compare the U.S. version to the European version try considering the price difference. That reason alone is why the current American Focus rides on an updated MK1 chassis. Americans weren't buying more costly small cars until fuel prices soared and SUVs were no longer the "in thing". But that's probably too much for you to wrap your simpleton brain around.

Mine is the new Focus Trend 1.6cc 100cv Duratec engine 5 door Kinetic package version, I'm very happy with it, it's looks, handling, comfort, excellent choice for the fair price. 14.720€ = 12.110GBP
A/C climate man/auto mode, cruise control, Sony Radio/CD mp3 6 speaker sound, onboard computer multi-display function, ABS+traction control, ESP, 16inch sport rims 205/55/16 tires. Nice for traveling and daily use, room enough for the family, I've got two kids. EXCELLENT CHOICE !!!!!!
