  • Yes he did, that's why he spent so many lessons with his coach, he expanded his range by learning proper placement and control. I highly respect him because he is a natural low baritone and was able to stretch his range in such a manner, listen to his chest notes and then listen to his head notes, his natural range is baritone and can sing well into alto ranges. That's one of the many reasons Tate is so amazing and easily one of the best in heavy metal.

  • Dude, that's an amazing story. I sure hope you had the camcorder and camera going that whole time! As a vet, myself, nothing but respect for your paps! You did a helluva thing honoring him like that. Awesome.

  • in my opinion, he is the 2nd greatest singer of all time, right behind Bruce Dickinson.. and i mean RIGHT behind! and Queensryche is my 2nd favorite badn!

  • @EGX500 Yes it really is sad how stupid people are especially when they post ridiculous accusations and name calling....Geoff Tate is THE MAN and you're not !!!!!!!!!!! Apparantly you need to look in the mirror...........

  • @skydancer:

Really, you know so little about this douchebag Tate, He can care less about anybody but himself, the guys is as phoney as they come. But you knee padding tards really think the BS he sells is real. sad how stupid people are. Tate is so stupid , and a total ahole, trust me I know.

  • @EGX500 SO just cause you think Tate is a dumb ass because of his career?Obviously you know nothing of another human being, nor the fact that people have a right to an opinion. You are and idiot for stating what you did,and for trying to pass judgement on someone else.

  • @HelloFade2 i dont c it lol

  • 4-years Army Guard, 9-years USAF Reserves...active for Panama, Grenada, 1st Gulf War and some other stuff. Did I agree with them on a personal level? NO. Did I do my sworn duty? Yes. Thanks to Queensryche. I served so they might have their honest opinions.

  • Geoff looks kind of like David Gilmour. Which is funny because it's pretty obvious that Queensryche was heavily influenced by Pink Floyd.

  • I have to say Amen brother. Right On as we use to say back in the day.

    OneBloodSrg.

  • I just looked at this to see how Geoff looks now. Darn. Oh well, father time.

Wish them well with their new projects, was a fan from way back.

  • Do I agree with the war in the middle east....no. Do I agree with our government sending our troops there, no. Do I support our men and women in uniform....hell yes. They are doing their job and providing for their families. I cannot judge what they do...all I can do is pray that they return home safely. The human element is the most important thing...and it's sad that so many seem to miss that fact.
