Here are some races I've recorded today, as I've been missing out on some Mario Kart Wii wi-fi races. And I've also made a custom Mii for Alton Brown, a chef on a Food Network show (Good Eats). Although he talks more about science rather than actually cook the food. I've also, like the last video, used the Wii Wheel. Although I haven't played long enough with it to get a Golden Wii Wheel, though.
Race 1
Koopa Cape
Well...that was some beginning wasn't it? I will go more in-depth...
About 5 Minutes Before:
I had forgotten to replace the AA batteries on my first Wii Remote, so I switched to the second operating Wii Remote. However, I decided to go on wi-fi, unaware of what was to happen. The remote mysteriously got disconnected, and I was immobile for a good 15 seconds. I mashed the A button on the remote that was functional a few seconds ago, but nothing happened. Then I tried pressing the A button on the remote with low batteries, then the signal came, and I was able to move again. Talk about a slow start.
I was pulled back with a Bullet Bill power-up, and two Starmans later, I came across yet another Bullet Bill, but I let the Mushroom boost disappear before I launched the Bullet Bill. (That was to get enough distance with the Mushroom AND the Bullet Bill.) I was struck with a Lightning Bolt, but the Bullet Bill's invincibilty made me unaffected.
At the end of the third lap, I tried to get a boost with that last Mushroom. Bad idea, as it turned out. G.GJR just passed me, and the boost wasn't enough to catch up! Well, I got revenge in the second race...
Race 2
DS Peach Gardens
Where's that Peach doing at the start of the race? It looked like she thought it was a Mirror race. But Neverless, she managed to come in first place....again. By the looks of it, it seems Princess Peach ([JC]Carlos) managed to get back on track, and stay in first for pretty much the entire durations of the race. But didn't it look like she did all of that on purpose just to use the Mushroom shortut?
But I did get my revenge here, as I flattened G.GJR with the Mega Mushroom towards the end of the third lap. Hardly necessary, but hey, I needed to use the Mega Mushroom for something other than size enlargement and the speed boost, right?
Race 3
GBA Bowser Castle 3
It looks like I got the Lightning Cloud somewhere in the second lap, and passing it on to David, it looks like he knows how to play the game right with the Lightning Cloud, he waited for someone to pass by, which was me. But I slowed down also...and then sebas (only Dry Bowser user) came along and poor guy took the Lightning Cloud from the sneaky David.
Other than that, the race came pretty close, especially in the third lap. A last-minute Green Shell toss managed to get me in first place, then the lag took over, and made it look like it went right through Princess Peach, and then rebounded like crazy until finally breaking.
Race 4
N64 Bowser Castle
You know, I find that at least 70% of the shells thrown (Green Shells usually) are thrown at the bridge before the road leading to the two fire pillars. Maybe it's because they know there's a small space, and they want you to either risk it or take the hit. I don't blame them, some of the Green Shells I throw behind me are thrown there, but not 100% of them. It's more like 20%.
And..what on earth was that Lightning Cloud at 12:20? If you looked at the map at the bottom-right corner of the screen at the time you can also see the cloud, you'll notice that there's no one there...

@dkade1998 The only time I use Manual is with bikes, the Spear sometimes being an exception.

@naruto977611 I know I usually use Manual drift, but with the Wii Wheel, I find it easier to control with Automati drift. Besides, it suits my Wii Wheel style better.
