@nastycop420 Thanks, that (the Back to roots video) doesn't seem too bad indeed, although I'm sure it takes practice (and perhaps a bit of luck when it comes to the timing of things) to survive the every now and then kind of more serious signal loss.
I'm aware you'll gain experience in dodging potential sources of interference altogether, but this sure looks very interesting and challenging indeed. Thanks for the heads-up.

@xxxXxxx255 Grand Canyon, Yellowstone Park, Nevada Dessert just to name a few..... come on man, there's got to be tons of places worth flying through in a similar fashion for sure. :-)
Excellent vid! What's the backing track? (it gave me goosebumps!)

Great stuff as always! ;D
So at 2'35 you dive into a little ravine, how good is your video signal when you do that? Do you still have line of sight?

@carlosthecactus yes, LOS is a requirement that we haven't found a way around ... yet :D

@nastycop420 If it were possible to transmit through a 3G network or by satellite without serious lag, there wouldn't be such a LOS limit.
Then again, you guys have flown further away than anyone I know of, so even with miles in between the LOS doesn't seem to be that much of a limit.
Would it be possible to see some of the actual FPV footage you guys see when flying such a long distance from start to end? I'm curious to know the level of interference you have to deal with.
