Those people behind the President are not bored - they're RESPECTFUL of him. Something most Americans forget to do. Please say something constructive and respectful on this site. Some of us are happy with the progress we've seen thus far. It has only been 9 months, and we are already seeing change. "WE" as a nation didn't speak up, when this country was falling apart - somehow, we feel the need to complain, when someone is trying to build it back up again.

People should quit whining. There has been an improvement in the economy. Small yet significant. Obama is not patting himself on the back here, he is just saying that things are a little better than when he took office but we still have a way to go.

Obama never wants to enforce immigration laws so illegal immigrants can keep receiving welfare & healthcare benefits as in the case of Obama's aunt Zeituni Onyango, an illegal immigrant from Kenya yet lived in taxpayer-funded public housing complex in Boston for many years and also contributed $260 to Obama's presidential bid. In fact, Obama, with his immigration reform, wants to naturalize twelve million illegal immigrants so they can get healthcare insurance & vote for his Democratic Party.

can you name one altruistic institution that take the role of money holder?

I thought about it a second and came up with credit union. i fear if you get rid of banks that these credit unions would become just like the banks we have today though. Assuming the credit unions and banks coexist i think that the competition would lead to a point when one of them can't compete anymore in which case one of them is left and we are back to square one again.

greed is not the problem. that greed is rewarded in this economic system is the problem.

anyone can go into a store and shoplift. if they are not caught they are rewarded. this is known as risk and reward. this is a parallel to the business world, and this is how. banks and investors speculate on something like beef, they buy and sell thousands of tons of beef a day and make tons of profits each time they sell. herders and investors are happy until the price is too high and no one buys anymore.
