Halo: Archetype Teaser Trailer

Halo Archetype is a non-profit, independent short film based on the Halo franchise.

Humanity is losing the war against the Covenant, an alien alliance that will do anything to fulfill The Great Journey. Originally meant to deal with the rebellion, the experimental Spartan project created by ONI becomes humanity's last hope and chance at survival. One lone soldier will be the first selected to receive the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor and become an archetype for the Spartans, if he can survive the invasion and war against the Covenant.


This teaser trailer was filmed by a crew of three in under four hours and with no budget. It was shot exclusively as a teaser so none of this footage will make it into the film. The film is an original story based on some events seen in the Halo lore and is currently in pre-production.

the amount of ignoarnce of what happens in the halo lore among the community is astounding... How's this project going?

Unfortunately I made the decision to cancel the project due to lack of resources, funds, crew, etc. Maybe someday I'll revisit a Halo film. For now, I'm focusing on other projects.

Technically.... The chief was the LAST Spartan to fight in the war xD Not the first, I believe the first was Noble Team.

Noble Team is made of Spartan III's. Which came after the Spartan II class that John is a part of.

Movie looks epic please make it. Brilliant armor by the way! With the authenticnes of the story not many Spartans knew about the other Spartan project so depends if the Spartan is telling the story and which Spartan! Again cant wait for it come out :D!!

Sergeant Major. Johnson was a Spartan I and him and Staff Sergeant. Bryne were the first humans to come into contact with the Covenant. So Sergeant Major Johnson was the first Spartan to meet & fight the covenant. (Sergeant Major Johnson was a Staff Sergeant at that time.) (Come on guys give Johnson a break he is not a Sergeant he was promoted multiple times. Give him credit)

Wroooonng first human contact with the covenant was in orbit around a moon of harvest wick kig yar (jackels) raided a human frieter then a marine team consisting of srgt Johnson and a few other marines are sent to investigate they find and kill most of the kig yar pirates but the captin escapes and tells the prophets so the covenat confronts hans on harvest

well not exactly it is where official fighting broke out,but first contact with the covenant was with chief and his fellow spartans.

wow i just realized after i posted half the population was saying something pretty similar.

yeah noble team came way after reach. heck half of them were spartan 3's. chief was the first human to come in contact with the covenant ; he had to raid a covenant cruiser that was attacking the ship he and the rest of the spartan team were on. He took 2 other Spartans wit him to disable the ship and lost 1. This was the first contact with the covenant.
