Vintage General/Dover Freight Elevator @ Crestwood Plaza St. Louis MO w/TheElevatorChannel.MTS

(filmed with TheElevatorChannel) Now THIS is a beauty!!! Completely original. This elevator is in the 1967 wing of the mall. Missouri Fire records show that it was installed in 1966, along with the Otis Hydro in the office section.

Thanks for posting this. Now i have learned that this elevator went into Dillards. I say it was a clean elevator expept for the fixture board and the window on the hoistway doors. Rather than modernize it, I rather restore it.

@Streetcar1743 This elevator actually serves the service corridor behind the AMC theatre. It appears to be used to "take out the trash" as there are a bunch of dumpsters around the lower landing.

You can see that the elevator used to serve...a basement? You can see the imprint of a button and a letter B on the panel when he shines his light on it.
