In honor of the 50th anniversary of the premiere of "The Yogi Bear Show," here is a rare Huck & Yogi recording written and voiced by DAWS BUTLER in 1959.
Created as a tribute to DAWS, the late great mentor of Joe Bevilacqua (Joe Bev.).
Yogi Bear first appeared as a supporting player on "The Huckleberry Hound Show" beginning October 2, 1958. "The Yogi Bear Show" debuted on January 30, 1961.
Joe Bev. hosts the "Cartoon Carnival" radio show, and produces radio theater style audio books.
His new radio show "Joe Bev's Audio Theater" is coming soon to Sirius XM Radio channel 163 and stations worldwide!

I used stills from the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons to simulate what this might have looked like IF it had be animated. If only we could get Warner/Cartoon Network to let us do NEW cartoons using these classic characters....
