i feel like the series would have been epic if ash's adventure ended after kanto and every region after would feature new protagonists who would eventually meet up... if only the series were more like the manga, although it was still AMAZING (well with the exception of everything past johto... i can't remember how good master quest was, or if it was even johto, but i do remember humming the theme song ^^)
