Hey everyone on this episode of Play it Through its Wrath of the Black Manta brought to us by Taito. While other ninja games of the same era are more well known such as Ninja Gaiden and Shinobi. Wrath of the Black Manta had a full cool ideas including lots of different moves pulled off by pressing different buttons on the D pad as well as interrogating bad guys for information. This along with a pretty high cheese factor and some decent controls makes Wrath of the Black Manta a pretty fun experience. Enjoy!!

  • I dont shoot up heroin thanks to the Black Manta

  • lol the prisoners all look the same.

    "All right I'll talk!"

    "Tell me everything you know."

    "I don't know anything!"

  • Let's go to Japan! Sterotypical ninja live there in a sterotypical way! makes perfect sense. This game is hilarious.

  • Well, if you went to the El Toro school of villainy, you'd understand that the first step in any kidnapping should be to let the victim study your hideout's blueprint (secret areas and all) just in case a rescue team or an insecure purple ninja shows up and would like to murder your ENTIRE army.

  • I really did like this game back when. It was short imo, and not re-playable after you defeated it. But nonetheless, I did enjoy it. I just brought the original NES cart for 88 cents. Dragon Warrior IV(4) cost me $38.43. I'm almost thirty years old now, but 8-bit still is king in my house.

  • Although the game has an anti-drug message, clearly, the game's programmers were on drugs.

  • Good call on how video game characters always know where we should go, even if they have no idea who or what we're looking for.
