Smaller trout have pretty small and flexible bones. Larger ones, like the one I caught, have bones more like a salmon. As far as being bony when eating, I usually bbq them which results in the whole skeleton coming out in one piece and am left with 99.5% bone free meat. :)

oh looks cold! nice trout tho, I remember trout being very bony fish. could be in the way it's prepared.

lol wasn't a life jacket, was just a pad for sitting on. It was sitting right where I wanted the fish to be so it had to go! :)
