Cross (Step 1, part 1) Solving the Rubik's Cube - Beginners

This is the first in a series of videos that explain how to solve the Rubik's Cube. If you don't understand what I am trying to say, follow my hands. That may help

This is called "Layer-by-layer." I like to call it reduced Fridrich because this is just limiting the possibilities of The Jessica Fridrich method.

To quote hazaraku:

"If you can't create one full layer by yourself don't even bother looking at algorithms, just take some time familiarizing yourself with the cube and the way it works first"

If you are so inept that you can't even get one side then don't bother looking at the cube. When seemingly random people see me solve it they say, "All I can get is one side. If strangers on the street can solve a side, you must be able to. If others can figure it out, I'm sure you can.

the easiest way to solve the top is by chosing you top center then doing the corners and then filling in the cross.

I understand what you mean. You mean to the average Joe it seems a large majority of people who can solve the Rubik's cube are of oriental descent.

I don't mean to be rude, or offensive to all the not-Chinese people who solved Rubik's cube - but when you're not very into the subject, it seems like everyone who solves it is Chinese, it's not true, obviously. Don't take it too seriously... ;)

this is dumb if you dont know HOW to make it so that the cross gets to the point that its able to solve theres no point so take your dumb little insults and shove it up your ***
