The American Public is demanding for it and they may be getting a two for one deal. An audit of the Federal Reserve will be conducted; specifically its dealings with financial institutions right before and after the financial crisis. This audit will also be conducted on Fort Knox; the audit is taking place in order to determine where money is going and seek some transparency about who received money from the Federal Reserve.

  • Oh look he's back. Mike Norman the shill from the "Peter Schiff was right " video has come out of hiding after being humiliated. Why listen to this guy he didn't see the problems coming. The audit the fed bill that passed in the senate is a watered down version of the real audit the fed bill (Paul/Grayson). Sanders and the rest sold us out. END THE FED!

  • Vote out EVERY incumbent!

Too bad that it's a one-time basis; it needs to be constant & transparent.

The Federal Reserve System is un-Constitutional, as the the Constitution specifies that CONGRESS shall regulate the issuing of legal money, consisting of gold & silver...not that it may delegate it to a private cartel, for profit, & allow them to issue fiat (paper) money, backed only by the promise of the IRS to tax us & our grandchildren in perpetuity.

  • @mbdulka Especially when the Federal Reserve is private sector.

  • Transparency can only begin by initially auditing the Federal Reserve and Fort Knox! Background checks on all who participate in the audit! Any affiliation that may be deemed in conflict of interest the entity is disqualified from participation and FINED!!!

  • Is it true Russia bought all the gold from Fort Knox?

  • Why would anybody be against an audit? Corporations are generally audited on a regular basis, seems to be a good thing in the private sector ... but why not the Fed?

  • Maddoff would have said an auditing of his account would have jeapordised his customers profits. So who cares what the Fed thinks an audit could do to their monetary policy decisions? Audit them, expose the crooks as they are, and abolish them!

  • I am for audit Ft. Knox because they may have a fake gold.

  • The ideas that the fed might be audited one time only and that such auditing should not allow the congress to interfere with fed operations are totally nuts.

The fed should not even exist.

  • @clearasvodka : oh , no doubt you are right. In fact I would be surprised if Fort Knox has "any solid gold" in it. The fact that it has not been audited since IKE was president is not only telling.....but chilling. I fear that very soon the facade may totally crumble, the smoke and mirrors removed and the truth will cause a financial crash
