  • God, what a beautiful place to ride. If we all rode bikes, those snow filled moutains would be protected for generations to come, but since we all drive gas hungry hummers and pick up trucks, I'd imagine that view will soon be a thing of the past :(

  • @odessaboy Fear not odessaboy, I don't recall seeing one Hummer whenever I have been there. Although to be fair, I have spoken to others who have seen more sunrises than me that tell me many of these roads were single lanes 20 or 30 years back.

  • I would love to ship my 80G model over from the States and ride those passes with you XS guys. Open up the throttle and push her over. Try to get those foot pegs to the ground.

  • Good to hear from you. These roads are brilliant, even on an XS1100. As for getting the pegs down...have you ridden an XS1100? Scary or what on bends. As I get older, I like to think that I can continue to get older:-). Great as it is, a sports bike it aint. If you ever get to visit we will see if we can all get to the Alps together. Prob a 3,000 mile trip from the UK.
