For this track we've only used the Miroslav Philharmonik from IK Multimedia. Only the percussion instruments came from other synths. We used 3 instances of the Miroslav Philharmonik for all other sounds (Strings, Brass, Woodwinds, Chromatic Percussion and Choirs). It demonstrates that the "Miro" can sounds mighty as a big sounding movie orchestra.

This track is available on justaloud.com.

  • I'm thinking of acquiring a symphony orchestra sample package of some sort. Would you tell me why you used non-Miroslav Philharmonik percussions? Does the Philharmonik not have percussions, or did the other synths have better ones or more of them? But heck, for a non-expensive package Philharmonik sounds really neat.

  • @gwaur The Miroslav Philharmonic certainly have all percussions of a classic symphonic orchestra, but they sounds to honestly for this track. Sadly not contained are chimebars, but the rest of the percussion range is inside. In addition i've used big war drums in that track, like taikos and big toms. Those sounds you will didn't find in any orchestral library.

  • Beautiful dynamics and production!

  • @AxeJMO Runs as a 32-bit VST over the Bitbridge. Now i'm working with Sonar X1 x64 on Windows 7 x64. The Bitbridge is the same as in Sonar 8. So i can say ... No problem. Works great.

  • @VarioProductions How about with Sonar 8 on Windows 7 64 bit?

  • @peterscoop Yes. Of course. Should be no problem.

  • @VarioProductions Can i use this wonderful VST in Fruity Loops?

  • This so fucking awesome, wanna watch out for a movie with this soundtrack. :D
