  • What's Kim? I've been trying to find out about it on the internet but I can't find anything.

  • The Five Faces of Doctor Who, remember it very well. Recorded it all on audio tape in those days as I didn't have a video recorder. A friend at school had a betamax, I was so envious.

  • Great times fondly remembered, all this and Harold Lloyd, Laurel & Hardy...used to be great watching BBC-2 around 18:00. Now it's just quiz shows and cookery. Meh...

  • yes the tarzan films starring Weismuller and Buster crabbe were usually on during the school holidays very early in the morning if I remember

  • I always remember the voices of the announcers on these trailers as they were quite distinctive!!

  • This was a special event called the five faces of Doctor who and was showing re runs of classic Who stories, except for Peter Davison as we were yet to see his Doctor. Storys included: An Unearthly Child, The Krotons, Carnival of Monsters, The Three Doctors, and Logopolis(this would have been a nice chance to have sneak peak at Peter Davsison as it was the forth Doctors regeneration story).

  • They should do a digital channel that captures all these old programmes. I mean where do u get to see Tarzan - I remember that being shown on telly back then, along with Buster Crabbe as Flash Gordon and of course there were the Banana Splits. I could go on

  • The first clip here is from Tuesday 10th November 1981, the second from Thursday 12th November.
