http://MPGomatic.com drops the hammer on a 2010 Nissan Maxima SV for a 0-60 MPH acceleration test. The Maxima's 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine is mated to a continuously variable transmission CVT.

There are two runs in this clip: the first with the transmission in Drive, the second with the transmission shifted manually. Traction control off.

The 3.5-liter V6 is rated at 290 horsepower (HP) / 261 foot pounds of torque.

  • Can I ask for a Nissan Juke review?

I drove one myself, and I was confused. I need an opinion in the form of a YouTube video.

  • @MrDinaso180 Stay tuned ... I need to get a Juke on the schedule.

  • cvt is fucking stupid

I disagree. It's all about gearing. A 6spd auto with an aggresive gear ratio can actually be faster than a CVT. Nissan's CVT is also one of the most developed CVTs out there but there are also worse responding CVTs like Mitsubishi's one (which is also used on Caliber/Patriot/Compass)

  • What happened with the Auto

Looked like it didn't wanna shift?

  • @JordsterMovies

coming from a guy who's trying to argue over the internet

  • @wow1022 I respond to your utterly stupid, 14-year old comment basically calling you a retard and you say you don't give a fuck? I read that as "I'm a retard and I DONT GIVE A FUCK how retarded I am." Please don't respond. You're killing my brain cells by osmosis.

  • @JordsterMovies

hm let me search for a fuck to give

  • @wow1022 Did you actually just say "you should buy a car for power not how it sounds"??? Are you 12? There is NOTHING more important about a car than the visceral feel of driving it, and ANY serious automotive fan whether they drive old American muscle, a new BMW or a high revving turbo charged import will agree that the sound of an engine is VERY important. I'm guessing that you're not driving age yet... drooling at a distance and giving advice to people who actually know what you don't...

you should buy a car for power not how it sounds

  • @RizwanJaved26 is a cvt were faster than traditional automatics, porsche, mercedes, maserati, ferrari, etc would use them. they're slow to rev and suffer from high drivetrain losses
