  • 0.52 .....epic fail . Real slam dancing !

  • now thats entertainment!

  • Dam so wanna DANCE like this

  • @WesVO1024 Joplin was a great "channel" for Ragtime - from which Pop EVOLVED. As for post-2000 - there is still (occasionally) greatness - but no ORIGINALITY. And Pop RELIES on that.

I define Pop as anything EVOCATIVE and ORIGINAL that is popular. However, the term derives, simply, from Popular Music - which encompases Jazz, Classical, Opera, Zydeco, Folk - you name it.

However, what most people think of as Pop is the MUSICAL TREND SYSTEM that ruled Top Twenty popular music from 1920-2000.

  • @carllafong69 I'd like to add Scott Joplin as a true artist from before 1920, one of the artist who was important for the birth of Jazz. Just saying that to point out that before and after 1920-2000 there were/are great artists too

  • @carllafong69 O.o wow...I knew a little about how Pop died, but I fell well educated now. XD Thank you for explaining that. (Not trying to be sarcastic...sorry if it sounds that way..)
