PART 4
After a few silent minutes,Nick parks near a restaurant named Cicada, Italian food. Nick pays for the meter and we walk inside the restaurant, which seemed more like a fancy hotel, I guess that's what you expect from a five-star restaurant. A waiter comes up to us and asks us our reservation.
"Jonas, party of 3," Nick replies sounding so mature, not like the Nick I saw earlier, in his tuxedo and leather shoes.
"Wow, Nick, this is your idea of a night out?" Demi asks sitting at the booth the waiter gave us.
"Well, I've been gone for more than a year, I wanted to treat you girls to something nice...and expensive," he explains getting his napkin and placing it on his lap.
"Are you sure we should eat here?" I ask uncertain of how much it'll cost.
"I'm absolutely positve...," he grins at me.
"Yea...how many times have you said that before...," I mumble to myself.
"May I get your drinks?" a waiter with a deep Italian accent comes up to us.
"One Coke, one ice tea, and on Lemonade please," Nick tells the waiter.
"Okay coming up," the waiter says and swiftly walks away.
"Omigosh look at that big light on the ceiling!!" Demi exclaims looking up.
"The chandelier?" I ask her glancing above me.
"Ooh is that what it's called soo cool!" she says amazed.
"Anyway, I'm going to use the restroom," I get up and try to find my way around.
After a few minutes, I come back to the table and sit down. Nick looks at me, half-smiles and looks down. I'm guessing Demi told him something. "Demi can you go...call someone for me?" I ask. She looks at me knowing I need to talk to Nick alone.
"Fine...," she gets up and walks away into the lounge.
"Did Demi say anything to you?" I ask curiously.
"I didn't know that you have a boyfriend," he replies quietly.
"Ohhh, well Taylor, yeaa...," I say awkwardly.
"He's a very lucky guy," he replies with a slight smile
"Yea...so Nick, why did you come back to LA?" I ask.
"You know, work and stuff, but mainly I came back bec-," Demi cuts him off as she walks in.
"Taylor said he's worried and you should come home already," she says sitting back down.
"Yeea well I don't have to listen to him...," I say crossing my arms.
"Actually I don't wanna cause any trouble, we should just go...," Nick suggests.
"You have already caused a whole 18 pounds of trouble," Demi mumbles. I kick Demi under the table knowing she meant Alex.
"But what about all the food, I mean you must of been through a lot for these reservations...," I tell Nick.
"Yeea, but there's always another time...," Nick stands up and motions us to follow him outside.
"Omigosh!! It's cold out here!" I exclaim rubbing my hands together.
"Want my jacket?" Nick asks.
"No no no it's ok...really...," I explain but Nick puts his cologne scented leather jacket on me anyway.
I look at the corner of my eye and see Demi smiling and raising her eyebrows up at me. We all pile into his Lexus and he drives off. Nick finally arrives in front of me and Demi's condo. I don't bother saying bye and I sleepily make my way up to our floor. I open the condo door and see Taylor.
"Hi!! You're back!" he runs up to me and tries to hug me but I back away from him.
"She's tired Taylor...," Demi explains as she plops down on the couch.
"Hey! Who's jacket is this?" Taylor grabs Nick's jacket from my hand.
"It's just a jacket not a big deal...," I reply too sleepy to even start a fight, but it's a little too late.
"Nooo it's a GUY'S jacket!" Taylor replies holding it up into the air.
"So I borrowed Nick's jacket!! Big deal!" I scream pissed that he's trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill.
"Yes, Nick is your EX, you can't just randomnly hang out with your EX and leave me, YOUR BOYFRIEND, alone!" he exclaims.
"Damn Taylor, why don't you just let me do what I want, there's this little thing called freedom! And you're not giving it to me!!" I storm out of the living room and into my bedroom.
"YEA WELL YOU KNOW WHAT!! WITH YOUR LITTLE BITCHY ATTITUDE I DON'T KNOW WHY I FELL FOR YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE!" he shouts at me causing the walls to feel like they're shaking.
"Taylor that's enough just shut up already!!" Demi says to Taylor and walks into my bedroom to comfort me. She hugs me and I lay my head on her shoulder as tears begin to swell up in my eyes.
"It's ok Sel, he's just tired, he doesn't mean any of it...," Demi comforts me.
"I didn't do anything wrong...," I say between my tears that dropped onto my carpet.

I don't really like the way that Taylor is acting, but he does have a fairly good point.
If somebody had done to me what Nick did, I would never want to look at him ever again. He's worried about her.
