  • quick question: which is better, american conquest fight back or american conquest divided

nations? also are these expansions for the games? please reply

  • What's best is the EW Napoleonic mod for Fight Back and the Hawks mod for Divided Nations. Get the Gold Edition pack and get them both for cheap.

  • I can't possibly recommend either Fight Back or Divided Nations without the mods cause it's impossible to go backwards in gameplay for me...

  • would someone tell me waht's the name of the background music?

  • Oops, accidentally deleted your other post (Remove and Reply are too close together, lol). Anyways, you can download this mod at the web site I provided...any other questions, visit our Forum.

  • its very tricky to make ingame videos of American Conquest in general...what programme did you use may i ask? :)

  • Howdy, I used a registered copy of Growler's "GunCam". The takes are from a recorded game that I played in Load/Saved Records. Watching the replay of our battle I zoomed in and out, took dif shots and edited it together for one "movie".

  • well We burnt down the whitehouse :P and washington with it.

  • you do know that, Canada/Britian won that battle right? The Americans dispute that due to the casulties they won and records from American vetrans claim that it was so foggy they couldn't tell, but the invasion of madison's army was halted, theirfore making Canada/Britian the victors, I could see alot of redcoat corpses there my friend. Good video none the less.

  • @Willsuitt1 We were the british then. So were the Americans before 1776. Remeber this was just 20 years after the 7 years war when british North Americans defeated french north americans for control of the content. There were no Americans or Canadians then. During the war of 1812. a whole regiment of english canadians fought for the U.S. known as the turn coats. And many of the Canadians were empire loyallists who had no intrest in the new country to the south.

  • we fired our guns but the yankeys kept a commin

there wasn't quite as many as there was a while ago

we fired once more and the yankeys started runnin

down to mississippi to the gulf of mexico

  • @Willsuitt1

I see where you're coming from, although most accounts of the battle tell of British and Canadian troups. There was after all Upper and Lower Canada. But I do see what you mean. It's just that I hear it alot and get kindof exasperated. It's not all black and white.

  • @CanadianGuerrilla but as I said Canada wasnt a country yet, they may have been born there, but they were not "Canadians". But still it was a British / (fine canadians ) victory.

  • @Willsuitt1

The Militia, Natives, and provincial Regulars (like the 104th) were BORN IN THE COLONIES OF CANADA, NEWFOUNDLAND, NOVAT SCOTIA, SELKIRK, RED RIVER, NEW BRUNSWICK, and others. They were under British control, but they were NOT BRITISH. 1812 was a victory for both the UK and Canada.

  • @AjaxAmsterdam34 it was a british victory, Canada didnt even exist then.

  • @AjaxAmsterdam34 lundy's lane was a british victory
