  • I know for a fact that the cross arms technique was used in Korea by Americans; also Vietnam, talk to some of the vets and ask. Great Work!

  • i dont dout you most martial arts orginated in asia

  • you should go to your nearest boxing gym and fight a boxer. and record that shit. and beat him. then you are a real 52 warrior!

  • i have nothing to prove to ppl i kno what i can do and what works for me in street fight i will eat a pure heavy weight boxer alive unless he has an outstanding sprawl game i kno i wont be able to box him out...but no dout in my mind when it comes to me and jujitsu

  • i know the history and the origin of the art and im not talking about negativa stance when i say your on the ground. i mean flat on your back with your oppenet on top of you. thats when grappling arts come into play.

  • @taqqeek I respect your opinions, but you should really not say that Capoeira is not as useful on the ground. I'm courteous, so I'll let it slide, but if another Mestre hears you, they'll turn you into a laughing stock.

It's fair enough for me to enlighten you- Capoeira is actually more powerful on the ground than on feet. It was that way, it was created by the slaves of Brazil, and is still effective for ground combat to this day. You should research the power of our Negativa stance.

  • @LaVivaGan Yeah I did. can't take a joke lighten up. Anyway it is good in some intances i've used some moves before but its not the end-all martial art. It has its weaknesses just like every style. if someone smothers you or takes you to the ground. Capoeira isn't so useful. just like judo isn't very useful if you can't grab a guy cause he is striking you to death. all im saying is you should respect all styles. I posted a video of one of my friends playing around at class i know practioners.

  • @taqqeek whoa, you caught me on the e. Notice how I've spelled it right in every other post.

Tell me though, how can someone who's friends with these Capoeira mestres be so ignorant to it's use on the street? Surely you've seen these "friends" fight, right?

  • @LaVivaGan your right my time are a bit longer but thats cause i count to s**t talkin before and the stomping/beating after the real fighting is over. I do know a lot about Capoeira, like how you spelled it wrong. I'm very good friends with several practitioners and instructors of Capoeira. I think it is a great art, I have studied/practiced it. My personal style it more like chinese Baguazhang (a lot of spinning and elbows).

  • @taqqeek Oh, I almost forgot, haha.. You sound as if you don't know much about Capoira.

We use Balance Aimed attacks on each other in Rodas all the time. I'm trained against it. You could push me off a handstand, or a one legged stance or attack, but I have about 30 different ways to catch myself and counter attack before you even realize.

Some guy tried it once- pushed me out of a One legged stance Fell back on my hands like a starfish and my heel caught him in the jaw, bit his tongue

  • @taqqeek I sound like I havent been in a real street fight? Get new headphones dude, I''ve been in fights since I was born. Try growing up in my neighborhood.. people jump you for shoes, clothes.. or even just looking too happy.

And that's a lie. Most street fights last 10-20 seconds. You my friend don't understand. Most thugs don't expect to get a Meia Lua to the face, or swept off their feet. Your orthodox martial arts are so predictable, youve lost before you've even fought.

  • @labrae tell them clinchmaster those blocks look high but its to fool you. when you come in low the elbows are dropped to shield and destroy your hand or if you were dumb enough to kick that high your foot.

  • @LaVivaGan You sound like you have never been in a real street fight. 90% of all street fight last 60 to 120 seconds and end up in clinches or goundwork. Pugilists of any kind should be respected; be it Boxing, Wing Chun, Panantukan, or 52. In a street fight the last thinng you want to do is take your feet off the ground higher than your knee. If you only have one foot on the ground, you only have one balance point. that makes it 50% more likely you will be off balanced and stomped out!

  • @dirtyclinchmaster Actually martial arts have their origins in Africa. Look at Kupigana warriors on the youtube search, and Shackle Hands or Kemetic Hands. Also check out Kilindi Iyi.
