@TEENGIRL017 What you have said is not true. These are all Acoli dancing groups and I can give the name to each dance. If you cannot tell the difference between Acoli dance and a Lango dance then you are laying to yourself (e.g. EKOCE is a Lango dance but not these). You can tell by the songs that these are Acoli songs and the dance or drum beats also tell you that these are Acoli groups. So please give credit to where credit is due.
This is Ugandan Luo aka Lango. They sound like Acholi because their cultures are essentially the same. You'll go crazy trying to draw the line. I am from a Langi, I went to Sacred Heart Secondary in Gulu and it is hard for me to tell sometimes. Let's just accept the fact that all the Luo groups are one. I love them all - Lango , Acholi or the Sudanese/Kenyan Luo. They are strong, powerful group with a very rich culture!
This is for langocommunity or EDPILOYA, I think what you are doing is pirating and infringement of Acoli culture. You collected videos of Acoli (Acholi) dancers or singers but you failed to credit them properly. You have mislead the public by renaming the artifacts in your own way to promote sale or accessibility on the langocommunity website. Who gave you permission to do such a thing?
@schymbros U have said it all. Thank for the comment, luo for life one unity
