This is one of the two Sega CD Let's Play projects I had planned. Apologies for the odd quality; I didn't record this off an emulator, I used actual Sega CD hardware. :)

Sorry if the sound is kinda odd, for some reason the audio was kinda low in the source video so I raised it with Virtualdub. More details soon!

  • Don't "Let's Play"s usually have commentary?

  • @NICKREAPER316 Mine usually don't because I normally record them on actual system hardware.

    Back when I made this, I didn't have a way to record commentary along with my video. A few weeks after I finished this I figured out a way to do so... and then the big quake happened and I stopped my planned project at the time.

    My commentary sucks anyway, you're not missing much. ^^;

  • @Foxhack Well, then it's not a Let's Play it's just a playthrough. And there's no version of Half-Life 2 on PS2, only the first one.

  • @NICKREAPER316 Sorry, you're right. I meant HL1.

    And eh... I really don't want my rambling to get in the way of Tallarico's awesome buttrock - I mean, music score. :p

  • @NICKREAPER316 Also, I was working on a fully voiced playthrough of Half-Life 2 on the PS2 but that game's idiotic lack of checkpoints ruined it. "You're dead? Oh sorry I'm dumping you back at the start of the stage, half an hour ago!" Agh.

  • wow this brings back a lot of memories

  • @AnAnkouEo Doesn't change the fact that it isn't a Let's Play. Just a playthrough.

  • @NICKREAPER316 I'm glad this doesn't because the music in this game is great.

  • I suppose to buy this game when

    sega cd was selling here in the Philippines.

    This game was very old school for decades now

  • Commentaries are extremely annoying I find. Recording from the hardware like the game is works best. Too about about those awkward borders at times, though.

    Great game too, by the way! This, Sonic CD, and Ecco CD are the best time travelling games around. Play them in stereo, duuude.

  • @Foxhack You could still change the title from let's play to playthrough.
