OH. MY. FUCKING. GOD. She has the most powerful female voice I've ever heard...EVER. She needs to do more rock covers from the 70s-90s.

Lzzy is, undoubtedly the best, most versatile female vocalist out there right now. She's got great range, can melt your heart with the ballads, or, conversely, she can get your adrenaline pumping with the more aggressive numbers. If there's any sense of justice left in the music world this band deserves to be hugely successful, selling out arenas worldwide as headliners. To say that I'm eagerly awaiting their new album would be the understatement of the year! :)

I don't normally post but I am amazed that anyone who likes music doesnt know who Temple of the Dog is. I have to admit I was impressed with this EP of covers with the exception of their Beatles cover. They definitely make it their own which I respect but I just think it was their weakest interpretation

One thing i hate about this cover is the bassist and drummer dont stay true to the original groove of the song, as a bassist, that bothers me hahaha, other than that, its a kickass cover.

@TATELANDDOG They've been around for a while but they've onlyhad one CD released so far- it's self entitled but it doesn't do her voice justice. You should watch some of their live videos. They're insane! They also have a new EP out called "Hello, it's Mz. Hyde". Check them out, you won't be disappointed. :)

@TheXavi05 First off, nice language. 2nd, Temple of the Dog is a band from the 90's (featured Chris Cornell and Matt Cameron from Soundgarden, Jeff Ament, Mike McCready and Stone Gossard from Pearl Jam) that Halestorm has covered "Hunger Strike". Finally, do yourself a favor and check out some Temple of the Dog.

@Chrissvinnnie having bought the GNR original when it came out 25 years ago I think you can chill out about such an old cover - otherwise you'll have to write off Live like a Suicide (85) which was side A on GNR Lie's (89). That contained covers & like this was from an EP. So your argument is?

Metal/Rock bands generally do cover songs, it's a long history. The difference is modern manufactured pop does *%&^ covers and destroys music.

Good cover, could be harder but Lzzy's voice is classic.
