@rickw1100 I know. I know. However, we're going to let her slide on those. The woman can flat-out sing. I mean, just look at her,,young, spontaneous, playful and so confident in her delivery.

A great singer. Too bad she is such a terrible person , ie the AIDS charity scandal, psychic network, and her horrifying behavior on celebrity apprentice. For shame Dionne!

now that was sublime ... thanks for sharing!

I just don't think it's possible to sing this song any better than she did here.

He does not introduce her as Donna Summer he simply says that the original version by Summer for the film was not a hit and then goes on to say that it was this interpretation that became a hit.

OH HELLO!! I think every woman in that audience owned a curling iron. HE HE....
Doesn't matter how many people recorded the song before her...........If Bacharach/David wrote it, she ownes it.

My god, I could simply die listening to this version of Alfie. I was already a huge fan of Warwick and Bacharach but I've never heard anything from their body of work that even remotely approaches the sublimity of this one live performance of the song. Warwick is so alive, vibrant and fully inhabiting (and in command of) the song that I truly feel I could expire from the exquisiteness. Thanks so much to whoever posted this. If only, if only these particular performances were available
