I used to play Samurai Shodown III every Fridays back in high school. We had very few combo strings then and discovered some more when i got its rom. I learned a whole slew of combos in YouTube, especially from Persona, TNC and S-Dak so many thanks to them. After knowing that much combos i decided to collect them and make a video of my own like i did with Capoeira Fighter 3.
The original video ran 7:45 and tried to get all the combos in to avoid making another video. It turns out it was way too long for taste so i had to cut it. The video is still a bit too long but a lot more bearable.
The song "Ghost Dance" is by LITE, an underrated Japanese math-rock band that you all should check out.
Some stuff i like to point out:
-This is not the best combo video of SS3 in YouTube nor these are the best combos there is. I still think S-Dak's CMV series holds that title.
-I'm really not a good SS3 player. I just like doing combos that i'd probably wouldn't be able to pull off in a real competition. Most of you would probably wipe the floor with me.
-There's an "illegitimate" combo in this video: Basara's only combo, at least the 2nd part. The combo actually breaks after the jumping C slash. But i still included it because it looks so cool and can confuse the hell out of an opponent.
