@djmz1969 I think Enya pronounces Latin in a way that suits the melody, it doesn't matter anyway, it's a dead language

OK, beautiful melody, except, that Cursum is not pronounced Cursu um is just one word Cursum, not Cursu...............um. I thought there was something off.

Great memories of the time and environment in which I met my wife (the song had been out several years at that point). She liked this music and, with her influence, I grew to like it better. To this day, hearing it makes me think of being there at that time (without the context, go figure!). Love this one and the full length (unabridged) Orinoco Flow best of Enyas. And, this from an outlaw country and classic rock man (but smooth jazz as well). Thanks!

Why are all of her albums so popular? Multi-platinum many times over each and everyone? Listen . . . .
My parents would play this album all the time when I was growing up and I would sing a long "cursing moons, burping seagulls!" haha.

This is definitely my favorite Enya song out of all of them.
