Canadian singer/songwriter Anne Murray's rendition of this Lennon/McCartney tune. Released in 1980, it is surprisingly nice, and I think I prefer it to the Beatles' original recording which sounds rushed compared to this.

I'm fortunate to have listen to Anne's version before I discovered that the Beatles wrote this song. I think Anne's version have such a romantic quality in it's own right.
Each time I'd listen to this song, I'd remember listening this song during a rain storm and imagining what it would be like to have danced a slow dance overlooking the city skylight with this song playing. I would think the next song playing would be "Touch Me When We're Dancing" by the Carpenters. That would grand!

Very nice version of the Beatles' song. I have always thought they sang their original too fast.
