@kcirdrab I saw them play it in Atlanta in 1984, and they kicked no end of ass. But you're right about this one: it's got more pathos than urgency. Probably wise: can't stay young forever.

Agreed. All things must pass & U2 lasted longer than most & gave a lot of good sounds.

Agreed, so now it's time for the tribute bands to do so, but instead they all perform as U2 of the '90's and '00's. But they're actually doing the song reasonable justice here. Another time, another place in life.

Not a good performance of 1 of their best numbers. If you want to see how good it can be see the 1980 go at it at the Lyceum in London.
Maybe it needs a smaller venue to work, or maybe it needs kids playing it with nothing to lose & everything still to win, but this performance is off the pace & doesn`t have the ZAP that`s needed.

I was at this show , 1st time I ever saw them play this song live, IT KICKED ASS !! This video is good but does not do it justice.
