I'd run across VAinoMinako's videos every once in a while, and she's a very good vidder! When I saw this video I couldn't agree more with it. The message Raye is trying to get across is so true. It's not that I'm not appreciative for the people that watch my videos and comment on them because I really do love it, and appreciate it. But the fact people pay so much attention to how many subscribers they have and start creating goals to reach a certain amount - When does that become fun? It's like sitting around just waiting to get to a number. A *Number*. It doesn't mean anything. What truly matters, like Raye said, is enjoying what you do. It's having fun editing and vidding.
For me I strive to improve my skills, and learn. Because I *love* learning! I love figuring out how to do new things, and I love seeing a video and then seeing something in that video I would like to learn so I try to figure it out on my own and see what I can come up with. I love vidding because it's fun, and it's a way to express myself just like I do when I make digital art/graphics in photoshop. It's the same thing, I do it both because I love doing it.
Again, I do appreciate the people who take time to comment and rate something I do for fun. But, It's time people stop paying attention to how many subscribers they have and start having more fun with what they're doing.
i could care less about subs but a certain ammount is a goal that you shouldnt be afraid to want but yeah you are right :T
