What's the yellow car behind it? Can't tell what it is

I am not exactly sure. Might be a Lotus because i don't see any black stripe  like the Minardis that year.

I did think lotus but its a much different yellow

I just had a look in the Ultimate Book Of F1 and the front nose doesn't match either but matches up with the Minardis. They might have painted a car all yellow for some reason for the last round?

Beautiful sound. And an equally beautiful car. The Ferrari 640/641 of 1989/90 was probably the most gorgeous F1 car ever. No fugly front wings, turning vanes, barge boards or winglets. Just a clean stunning design. F1 will never see an era like this.

If only F1 could be like this now 3.5 litre V8, V10 or V12's screaming round the circuit, all the cars sound the same now :(

@classicf1 It's a Coloni C3C, a car not so well know because it never been on the track on a Sunday. Basicaly, they had 8 DNPQ in a row, change the engine from Subaru to Ford, did 2 DNPQ and 6 DNQ in a row (with Bertrand Gachot as a driver, which is not that bad of a pick actually... Just a fraction of second slower than Schumacer on the same car, look in 1991).

Grande Nigel. Ferrari shouldnt have treated him as second driver. I think Mansell could have done a much better job if there wasnt Prost at the time his team-mate.

@classicf1 Yep, Minardi @ Adelaida '90 used a yellow-painted car, i think with a white stripe in the middle of it. I can't tell why really....

@jbutton113 I believe the car is a Coloni of B. Gachot. Gachot had a white helmet and he failed to qualify for this event.  The Coloni failed to Pre Qualify for the first 10 races, and did not qualify for the last 6 races.
