I got married last year & everything is going great- I couldn’t hope for a better, more loving wife. But there’s a BIG problem.

During the dating process my counsellor advised me NOT to say I’d never had any previous relationships (I’m 42), but instead to invent an ex-wife & kid so I didn’t appear like a ‘sad loser’. i didn't even follow this man's story. but i must confess, we need to help out ppl who need it b/c it's the right thing to do. i'm not saying i agree with giving ted williams a job as announcer for the cavaliers was right, it may be exploiting him for his voice but i will say there are smaller venues out there that could use his services as for his family, i think if the ex-wife can afford it, she should sue ted. b/c that's just unfair. same goes for the girlfriend.

Damn good point Bob. We value a flawed person that became normal, more than a normal person that never lost it. I have a suspicion that people like to look down on others, so someone who is obviously flawed is welcomed as they don't make others feel insecure. It is all about feelings these days. Someone who is just a regular guy, doing well makes people insecure, simply for the fact that they can't look down their noses at him. Thats what I think anyway.
