This short clip includes a couple of nice moves by Sedale Threatt, who was my favorite Laker in the few years after Magic retired.

  • Sedale is LALakers 91-92,92-93 season MVP player.

  • After Magic retired and big games James got older, it was a dark period for the glorious franchise. But Sedale fought as a leader to keep this team decent, out of the last places like those who tank to try their luck in the lottery draft. They almost made a big upset against 1st seed Phoenix in the playoffs. Randy Pfund was the coach.

At one point Jerry West said he considered trading the whole team except Threatt.

Im still upset they traded Scott tho...

  • I liked Sedale during his Lakers tenure. He actually kept that whole team afloat for those couple seasons in wake of Magic retiring abruptly due to that unfortunate HIV fiasco. Probably taught Van Exel a thing or two before finally being put out to pasture.

  • Sedale Threatt was my roommate in college at West Virgina Tech. He taught me how to bounce quarters.

  • Yeah boy that's my coach

  • hahahaha i love how the commentators say his name

    'Sedell threet" ;)

  • Does anyone have clips of the game where Sedale lit up the Knicks at the garden?

  • @tonton6969

I definitely remember that, they came oh so close to knocking off Phoenix, the very definition of Laker Pride. Sedale was also one of my favorite Lakers and an underrated pro. He was the glue that kept that team going through the dark years.

  • Sedale is definitely a superstar and in my top five fave players of all time. Yes I said that. ALL TIME. Used to come to Portland and make the Blazers sick! LOL! Extremely underrated. Great handles and defense and could knock down the three at will.

  • My favorite Laker of all time and these are the Lakers I grew up watching...thank you for the upload, good memories.

  • Most incredible scorer... dribbling to his right... hahaha!

  • @x69Crunchyx yeah man hes a legend :) he helped me heaps :)
