Cool thanks! How well do you think the small butane torch worked? Did it solder both wire and sheet metal well (say 18/20 gauge)?

It would help if you would explain what you are doing. From this video, which is very short, you never explained how you got to this point, whether or not the solder snippets are soft, medium, or hard, and fluxing, basic finishing, and whether this is Sterling, Argentium, Fine and what are these for?

Nice! What kind of torch are you using? I like it! I'm looking for one so that I can do this stuff at home instead of being in the shop all day.

The one in the video is a small butane torch by Ronson that I got at walmart, but I've since upgraded to an air/acetylene Smith kit.
