I just caught the movie the other day, and thought Christian McKay was outstanding. Brilliant performance. Bravo, Christian! :)

@Bass5el with all due respect just because he's impersonating someone doesn't mean it wasn't an oscar worthy performance. He really did a hell of job and impersonation i can imagine, is no piece of cake either; Maybe even more difficult because you have to capture the essence of a person. I believe if it's a job thats well done then it doesnt really matter whether or not its free interpretation of a character or impersonation. It all comes down to the question "were you moved?"

He deserved an oscar let alone a nomination. Brilliant performance. I'd be interested to see what else he will do and how he will fair. Hope he gets massive recognition and some good roles.

You, know it's slighly off season, but he should get a nomination for best supporting actor this year as there is quite a big gap in candidates

he's really down to earth and you can see from his performance he deserved that oscar; hands down.
