@tepadno A few things: 1) I assume your referring to the Bishop (you wrote Knight) 2) The whole Idea of the move is to pin the Knight, moving to F4 clearly doesn't do this 3) If Black play Ph6, then just Bh4, there are other minor reasons awell, F4 is a good developement move, but doesn't serve the purpose of pinning the Knight.

7:13 I don't think that it's a good idea to move the knight to G5 as it can be attacked with a pawn moving to H6 what will force retreat. Why not to move it on F4?

The best way to confront the king/queen's gambit is to bring the bishop out to attack the knight.
