2010 Sinnamon Lights - Chicken Dance -

About 80,000 lights synchronized to the music "Chicken Dance" (performer unknown) using about 360 channels of Light-O Rama (LOR) control hardware. While I have been using LOR for several years previously, 2010 is the first season that I have achieved my goal of synchronizing lights and music. In previous years, I never overcame that mental block and always ran out of time. The result in previous years was that I used an animation sequence to display colour changes and lights patterns with music randomly playing in the background - see the "Joy to the World" video.

This was my first success at synchronizing and it was great to see both adults and children dancing in the street. (P1020735.mov)

@listentoourlights This was the first synchronized tune I did. Chosen as my better half was particularly fond of the Chicken Dance from way back (Brisbane Expo 88). It was amazing how often we had both adults and children dancing on the street while the lights were on.
