Rooms with fan from 500 baht to A/C rooms from 100 per night, right on the beach so idylic, you can get cheaper just inside the Island and a short walk to the beach, its also a national park so you will have to pay a small entrance fee once only to the beach from the Island.

The sea is clear, the beaches white and clean, plenty of Restaurants with great seafood and not expensive, a great get away for a few days with the mrs and can be very romantic.

This is a nice quiet Island 1 hour from Pattaya to Rayong, then the ferry 40baht per person & 40 mins accross to the Island, or speedboat 10 mins 1500 baht but thats for the boat not per person, dont book anywhere until you get to the Island itself then go to Sakaow beach is the nicest and just walk along and choose what you like to stay in as they are all along the beach so easy to check out.

Wait till after 9pm before you pass the park office with your luggage, they're closed after that time, so you save the 200 Baht for the entrance fee ;-) just leave your bags at some place (I recommend Roger's Bar on the last turn on main street, about 400 m away from 7-11, also cheap rooms, but no a/c and most of the time booked out) and go to do your booking at some hotel on the beach ;-)
