This is a quick clip of one of the dogs at the kennel I work with. Hopefully the jist of the details are understandable. This video is meant for people who believe that headcollars are the be-all-end-all of training tools. If you have a dog that walks "JUST FINE" on it, that's all good. But for the majority of dogs out there who still insist of some form of passive resistance, it might be time their owners to switch to a tool that generates less resistance with better results.

Please consult a professional trainer if you need any help with teaching your dog proper manners. "Management" is not acceptable. TEACHING is your goal, and a well-behaved dog who has a wonderful bond and relationship with you is the ultimate reward!

Thank you for all the comments on how the directions to fit the collars are only "guidelines." Perhaps Premier would do good to mention that in their pamphlets if they do not wish to see issues such as this, so that people do not take them so literally and fit EVERY neck strap so that it strangles the dog. Unfortunately, as a worker, my hands are tied...and the "guidelines" hold hard and fast as the rule. A) I cannot adjust the fit to reduce strangling, as fit is checked on a random basis to be sure we have utmost control of the dog. B) These dogs are overseen by a trainer already. C) Fit on the nose strap has been loosened slightly, as it was not reaching the appropriate place on the muzzle. D) Some dogs DO walk well on them, however the problems run the gamut from thrashing on the ground to occasional pawing at the face to continuously shoving the nose into the handler...which is reinforced by many people as a sign of affection or is seen as "cute" by others.

**This dog is currently up for adoption. Please message me for details if you are interested in giving her a forever home.
