Compo's neighbour, Gloria, is returning to Australia, so he decides to throw her a farewell party at Sid's Café. After borrowing a piano, Compo gets stuck up a tree while trying to transport the piano to the café. At the party, Compo gets a dance from Nora Batty, which ends after he steps on her foot
I think the music was edited in. Blamire's left hand was all over the keyboard, but all you could here were notes coming from the lowest octaves.

It sounds as if he was playing right with his right hand and just clumping about with his left one on the lower tones. So one hand seems to be in tune and the other doesn´t. I haven´t been playing the piano for nearly 20 years, but that´s how it sounds to me.

@HORRIOR Either that or Blamire was out of tune and the piano was OK.

I can't decide if the whole piano is out of tune, or if he's playing the left hand in a different key from the right hand--or both!
Either way, I think it's hysterical the way he's happily oblivious to it all LOL
