It Begins! This is a speed run of arguably the best game on the Sega CD. It had great graphics, music and production values at the time. This is Compile's followup to Aleste (MUSHA in North America) for the Genesis. Note: I probably replayed the first level at least 20 times to get through it without dying and still manage to dance around those bullets, you won't see much fancy dodging in later levels cause I couldn't afford to play like that and live.. :)

Few hints for those of you who want to track this game down and play it.

- The ships that drop power-ups cannot hurt you so run into them to collect as many as you can.

- The two circular buzz-saw looking things can absorb bullets so use them to block bullets.

- Only the upper body (torso) of your robot is vulnerable, bullets and enemies can pass through your robot's legs and arms freely.

  • Yeah, the musical score has a really good b-line. Worth playing just to shoot shit with good music.

  • I've never played this before, but I just LOVE the music! ^_^ I wish there was a soundtrack CD for this game. <3

  • Compile shmups are fucking awesome.

  • who ever is playing this sucks

  • is ther a name for the music you fight his brother 2??

  • I agree!

  • Musha Aleste: Full Metal Fighter Ellinor for MegaDrive is better than this!

  • Was the music in this game produced by the same guy who did Super Aleste [space megaforce] for Snes?
