  • I played this in a woodwind ensemble years ago, using four flutes (two first flutes and two second flutes) and a bassoon. We had a wonderful time and it sounded really good!

  • What a great trio from Haydn and what a great trio of musicians!!!

  • @Gelatoalcio I'm not completely familiar with this piece, so I will trust your judgment! Even the best can make mistakes! I've seen Paul Tortelier make a mistake too in one of his videos here on Youtube.

  • hayden looks like he could be a founding fatherQ!

  • I love this song! I played it on oboe for my region's junior district auditions!! :)

  • At 1:21 Rostropovich makes a mistake! I can't believe that! (great respect, obviously) :)

  • Great!!!!!!!!

  • Tempi are fast for my taste. But I am very impressed how the masters dance through the whole piece with such elegance and ease.

  • What a combination- 3 of the greatest of their generation together. Rampal, Stern and Rostpovitch. As for the tempo, I love it - they play it that fast yet that well because they can. True virtuosity.

  • three geniuses! :)
