Video of the world's most sophisticated fighter jet performing a demonstration at the 2009 Randolph Air Show in San Antonio, TX. The F22 performs a variety of aerobatic maneuvers to demonstrate its unique flight capabilities.
In some scenes you can see examples of PrandtlGlauert singularities. These are also known as vapor cones or shock eggs. They are the visible condensation clouds that appear in regions where air is moving at transonic speeds. Where pressure drops rapidly, the air cools and moisture from the air condenses creating a visible cloud.
Condensation is also visible in some images near the wingtips. This condensation makes the cores of wingtip vortices visible. Once again these occur in low pressure regions where the air temperature drops and moisture condenses.
im a cadet in the AF and my life goal is to fly one of these bad boys

Wow! back flips, pedal turns, J-turns, and rapid near 180 degree turns(Hearbst maneuver) are just the way things are now. I can only imagine what a 6th generation fighter will do. At this rate a 9th or 10th gen craft may turn out to be a flying saucer with a klingon style cloaking device! Cost: $6,000,000,000,000,000! so we'll only get one...
